Jen Pinder and Rachel Sanders will
be joining Mary Ellen again this year for the following camps:
Competition
Handling Camp - June 29-July 1
This camp is open to all dogs competing at an Advanced or
Masters/Excellent level. Dogs will be grouped based on their level.
Students will spend ½ day rotations with Mary Ellen, Jen and
Rachel, seeing each instructor for 2 different sessions. Each session
will be a focus session such as front cross, rear cross etc. The
primary focus of the camp is handling although some obstacle performance may be
covered based on the needs of the groups. Dogs must be proficient on
all equipment and able to handle longer sequences and/or coursework.
Obstacle Workshops - July 3-4

Youngsters
Camp - July 18-19 (camp date may shift back by 1 day)
This camp is geared toward dogs that are not yet competing
or are just getting ready to compete. The focus will be on handling skills
only. Students will spend ½ day with each instructor and will see
each instructor at least once. Camp will include the following
groups:
- Puppies – (1 group) of puppies ages 14 weeks to 14
months, no prerequisites
- Green Dogs – (2 groups) Dogs should be at least 1 year
of age and should be sequencing at least 4-6 obstacles.
Masters
Camp - July 20-22
This camp is open to all dogs
competing at the masters/excellent level. Students will spend one full
day with each instructor. This camp will not include focused topics
for each session, but instead will be longer sequences and coursework.
This camp will not go into details on how to handle specific sequences but
instead will help you learn to choose the best strategy for your dog, fine tune
your handling, and focus on putting it all together. Dogs must be proficient on
all equipment and able to handle masters level technical sequences.
