Join us at Misty Mountain Campground in Crozet VA November 1st - 3rd for MadCo's fall camp.
Instructors will be Mary Ellen Barry & Jen Pinder. There will be a 2 day handling camp November 1st and 2nd in addition to equipment skills workshops on Wednesday November 3rd. These camps/workshops will be following MadCo's USDAA Halloween trial at the same location.

Handling Camp (Monday & Tuesday November 1st & 2nd - 9 to 5 each day) - Working Spots Full
There will be 2 groups of 10 dogs per group. The first group will be intermediate which is intended for greener dogs such as those getting ready to compete, or already competing at the novice level. Dogs should be 14 months old or have permission of Lynn Sigman or one of the instructors. The second group will be masters, which is for dogs competing at the USDAA Advanced/Masters level or equivalent. Students will spend each day working 1/2 day with each instructor. Topics will include: Front and Rear Crosses, Sends, Serpentines, Threadles and Pushes. Cost is $350 per dog/handler team for a working spot and $85/day to audit. Lunch is included.
Obstacle Skills Workshops
Wednesday November 3rd - 9am-12:15pm
2 on/off Contacts with Jen Pinder - learn how to improve your dog's 2 on/2off contact using proven methods. You will learn how to teach your dog to drive into position with speed and understanding. Cost is $85 working spot/$40 audit. Dogs must be 8 months old to participate
Jumping Skills with Mary Ellen Barry - learn 1 jump and grid exercises to improve your dog's understanding of jumping. Exercises from both Linda Mecklenburg (including Recall to Heel) and Susan Salo will be covered. Cost is $85 working spot/$40 audit. Dogs must be 10 months old to participate.
Wednesday November 3rd - 1:30pm - 4:45pm
Sizzling seesaw with Jen Pinder - learn how to improve your dog's teeter performance ranging from fear of motion and/or the sound in addition to position work. It is helpful but not required if you attend the AM session on 2 on/off contacts with Jen. Cost is $85 working spot/$40 audit. Dogs must be 8 months old to participate. Working Spots Full
2 x 2 weaves with Mary Ellen - learn Mary Ellen's twist on the 2 x 2 weaving method and how to teach your dog brilliant understanding of weave entries. Session will be lecture/demo with less working time than other workshops. This is necessary to show all of the steps of the 2 x 2 training. Cost is $85 working spot/$40 audit. Dogs must be 10 months old to participate.
