This 2 day seminar is a foundation level seminar, however all levels are encouraged to attend.
Using proven methods from Linda Mecklenburg's Developing Handling Skills, you will learn and/or review foundation skills which are critical to handling and jumping success. Exercises will include flatwork, 1 jump work, and short sequences (3-6 obstacles) of jumps and tunnels. We will cover forward and lateral sends in addition to the 6 recall to heel presentations and how they work together in a sequence.
Dogs participating in the seminar should be at least 1 year old and should have a solid stay, be able to work under distraction including other dogs on the floor and should be jumping full height
This is a revised version of the previous 3 day sends & recalls seminars. The drills day which was included on day 3 previously will not be offered in order to gear the seminar towards more of a foundation level.
Cost is $335 for working participants (limit 12) and $85/day auditing. Lunch is included for all working participants and auditors who register by February 18. Payment in full will be due withing 7 days of registration in order to hold your spot.
